ORLANDO, FL, August 3, 2020 – PT Genie has hired Tim Hedke, MBA, to serve as Chief Financial Officer. He will oversee the financial activities of the organization, track cash flow, direct financial reports and create forecasts predicting future growth. PT Genie is a digital health company that is advancing the field of physical therapy through its patented motion sensor device and software that keeps patients connected to their providers while they exercise safely at home.

Hedke brings more than 20 years of experience directing both high-growth enterprises and established businesses. Prior to joining PT Genie, he worked in various sectors from professional service, hardware and software to consumer goods. Most recently, he serves as Senior Vice President of Cresa, the world’s largest occupier-only commercial real estate firm. Previous to that role he was the Vice President and CFO of Naylor, a firm that provides event and media solutions to trade organizations.
“I look forward to helping PT Genie expand its footprint across the country and provide value to investors,” said Hedke. “My focus will be to ensure operational and business needs are aligned with finance to maximize stakeholder returns.”
Tim earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University of Central Florida and a Master of Business Administration from Rollins College.
PT Genie is a wearable device that keeps patients connected with their physical therapist when doing exercises from home. The patient wears small sensors while they exercise that send data back to the therapist to monitor progress and help when needed. Through an interactive, virtual reality avatar on a tablet, patients are guided to perform exercises correctly. It provides real-time feedback and an ongoing connection between patient and therapist to ensure the patient is successfully recovering.
