BS, Psychology, Miami University
Being a competitive ice skater for years sparked my interest in human anatomy and physical therapy. During college, I was a Division 1 Synchronized Skating athlete. Afterwards, I received her personal training certification and then discovered the Physical Therapist Assistant career path. In 2021, I started with the Cleveland Shoulder Institute and am thankful to be a part of the amazing team here and experiencing the progress our patients achieve.

Before joining Genie Health in 2021, I served as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Notre Dame College in Ohio, where I helped both men’s and women’s athletic teams. Committed to martial arts, I hold the rank of a 5th degree blackbelt with the American Tae Kwon Do Association.

William Nicholson, PT
Physical Therapist, Cleveland Shoulder Institute
DPT, Physical Therapy/Rehabilitation Science University of Pittsburgh
BS, Biology, Kent State University
A Physical Therapist since 2009, I treat patients with a wide variety of operative and non-operative conditions and serve as a clinical instructor for PT students. I believe in treating the patient as a whole and not simply their condition. Each patient has unique past experiences which will impact their recovery. Striving to consider all information is an important goal while guiding patients in their rehabilitation.
In his free time, William enjoys spending time with family, road trips, hiking, golfing, and tapping trees to make maple syrup.

For six years, I have been working in medical settings and helping patients in navigating their healthcare journeys. Whether it is scheduling appointments or sharing other important information, I love getting to know our patients and helping make sure they get the best care possible. A proud mother, I love spending time with my children, going to football games, shopping and going for walks in the neighborhood and beyond.
