Take the Next Step in Your Recovery

What to expect during the scheduled registration call:

Scheduling your registration call is the next step in your recovery process and you will NEED to do so at least 72 hours prior to your surgery. On this scheduled call, you will:

  • learn the PT Genie program in detail and how it benefits your recovery
  • walk through insurance benefits information
  • set up a test video call to ensure your technology is working properly
  • schedule your initial visit for a PT evaluation and follow up visits with a PTA

Once completed, you will be officially registered for the PT Genie program. Please reach out to the onboarding specialist and/or account manager if you have any questions or concerns.

Steve graduated with his associate’s degree and began his career in physical therapy as a physical therapist assistant in 2016. He spent six years working in an outpatient orthopedic setting before obtaining his bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration. While he transitions into a role outside of direct patient care, his experience, combined with his passion for health and fitness will continue to benefit patients.

Outside of work, Steve leads a very active life. From hiking and cycling in the warmer months to snowboarding in the winter, he will never turn down an opportunity for an adventure.

Sthephanie Sanchez-Padron, ATC

Account Manager at PT Genie, Texas Orthopedic Associates

Sthephanie originates from Maracaibo, Venezuela but grew up in Omaha, Nebraska and recently relocated to the St Louis, Missouri. She enjoys the outdoors especially mountain biking, and hiking.

Nikki DeJean, ATC

Customer Success Specialist at PT Genie, Texas Orthopedic Associates

Nikki graduated from Letourneau University with a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology degree and earned her Master’s in Athletic Training at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Nikki began working as a Customer Success Specialist at Texas Orthopedic Associates in 2021. Nikki enjoys helping patients at Texas Orthopedic Associates achieve their rehabilitation goals.

She is an avid health enthusiast and loves a good game of basketball. She hopes to continue to grow and learn new ways of helping the PT Genie patients.

Brad Kresge, PT

Brad Graduated from Misericordia University in 2004 with his Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has had the pleasure of working in many different therapy settings over the course of his 18 years as a Physical Therapist, including Acute Care, Skilled Nursing, and Outpatient Physical Therapy.
Brad spent 9 years in the Dallas area working for the Baylor Scott and White Health Care System, prior to hitting the road for full time travel in 2019 with his family of 5. During this time he and his family started Prodigal Overland, an off roading business and YouTube channel.
Most recently, Brad and his family have settled down in the Asheville area of North Carolina in the Blue Ridge mountains.

Yvette Ewens, PT

Physical Therapist, Texas Orthopedic Associates

Yvette received a B.S. in Exercise Science from Texas Tech University and a M.S in Kinesiology from the University of North Texas. She then went on to earn a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) from University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Growing up as a competitive gymnast, and now health care professional, she strives to provide an intensive, total body approach to fitness, rehabilitation, and wellness. She became board certified in Orthopedics (OCS) and specializes in orthopedic, spine and sports physical therapy across the lifespan. In her personal time, Yvette enjoys running, yoga, CrossFit, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

Alan Wittert, PT

Physical Therapist, Texas Orthopedic Associates

In the eight years leading up to working for PT Genie, Alan worked as an orthopedic physical therapist. Prior to moving full time into the world of telerehabilitation, he was the clinic director of an outpatient PT office specializing in treating the spine and extremities.

Alan is fully certified in The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy® (MDT). This method is an internationally researched and acclaimed system of assessment and management for spinal and extremity musculoskeletal disorders developed by New Zealand Physiotherapist Robin McKenzie. It has been widely used all over the world for more than 60 years.

As a physical therapist, Alan finds great satisfaction in helping people get back to doing the things they love, pain free. Watching patients achieve their personal goals and become the best version of themselves, is why he does what he does.

In his free time, Alan enjoys spending time with his family and weight lifting.
