Ken Kaminski, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon
Ken Kaminski, MD
Orthopaedic Surgeon located in Dallas, TX
Dr. Ken Kaminski specializes in primary and complex hip and knee replacements, revision joint surgery, joint replacements, and hip and knee arthritis. He is Fellowship Trained and Board Certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.
Dr. Kaminski comes to Azalea from the Mayo Clinic, an internationally renowned institution known for shaping and influencing primary and revision joint replacement surgical techniques.
Diagnosed hip and knee arthritis affects 1 in 5 individuals at some point in their lifetime and can be a significant factor in preventing someone from enjoying their life to the fullest,” Dr. Kaminski explains. “Living with hip or knee pain is not something you should have to do. My practice focuses on returning patients with arthritis or malfunctioning hip and knee replacements to their previously active lifestyle.”
Using the power of robotic technology, Dr. Kaminski now has the ability to pre-plan his knee and hip surgeries using a CT scan to generate a custom 3D virtual model. This new advancement allows for greater precision and less muscle trauma during surgery, typically resulting in shorter recovery times.
From 2015 to 2017, Texas Monthly Magazine recognized Dr. Kaminski as a Rising Star. After being selected for three consecutive years, Dr. Kaminski became eligible for the Texas Monthly Super Doctors award. From 2018 to 2022, Dr. Kaminski has been recognized as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor.
In addition to running a successful private practice, Dr. Kaminski is a board member for Azalea Orthopedics, Baylor Scott & White Texas Spine & Joint Hospital, and OrthoLoneStar. From 2020-2021, Dr. Kaminski served as the president of the Texas Orthopedic Association.
